once i had a dream where i, as bart simpson, was in the late 1500's-early 1600's in italy and was being chased by sideshow bob, who was, of course, trying to kill me. anyway this was like, genuinely terrifying and went on for quite some time until i, again, as bart simpson, remembered that i was armed, and pulled out a glock and pointed it at bob. the minute that bob saw the glock, he stopped cold, but instead of backing down or anything, he started going on a tirade about how he had studied history in college and the era that shakespeare was alive in was one of his favorites, (naturally,) and that he knew for a fact that my glock was historically inaccurate, and that this was making a mockery of our whole game of cat and mouse. he ranted for a while and he got so genuinely incensed about my historical inaccuracy and lack of respect for the time period that the dream was set in that he decided to just end the dream, and the minute he decided to do that i actually physically woke up irl, sweating, completely baffled and half convinced that i had accidentally channeled the general essence of the real robert underdunk terwilliger
